Reuben Aldridge Hale, Jr. (1927-2018) was a prolific artist whose career spanned painting, photography, holography, and sculpture, earning recognition for his figurative expressionism and celebrated 'Emerging Woman' theme. As a champion of art education and the humanities, Hale transformed Palm Beach Junior College into a regional cultural hub and played key roles in founding a myriad of local arts institutions in Palm Beach County, FL.
The Artwork of Reuben Hale was founded in 2019 by his daughter, Irma, with the mission to conduct research, preserve, and share Hale's artworks, teachings, and life story with the public. By showcasing Hale's artistic works and the underlying themes of women’s strength and empowerment, the organization aims to inspire and uplift individuals, encouraging them to embrace art as a powerful vehicle for personal and societal transformation.
